ProPHLEX is a revolutionary new object-based finite element analysissoftware. ProPHLEX separates theproblem formula- tion from the finite element approximation, so that theapplication development can solve the physical problem without dealingwith tedious finite element coding. This optimizes both the softwaredevelopment process and the end-user analysis cycle for computationalphysics and mechanics applications.ProPHLEX includes an application library and a customizable applicationtemplate which allows you to build customized finite elementapplications. The template is composed of a small group of FORTRAN and Cmodules, as well as an object definition module. These describe thesystem of equations and boundary conditions to be modeled and define thedata layout.
